How it works
Three steps. No matches.
Unbox
Your candles arrive with button cells included. Nothing else to buy.
Switch on
Flip the switch on the base and the LED flame starts to flicker straight away. No matches, no lighter.
Place it anywhere
Beside the diya, down the dining table, near the curtains. No heat, no drips, nothing to keep an eye on.
When the glow starts to dim, swap in fresh button cells of the same size and they are ready again — this Diwali, next Diwali and the one after that.
Where they look best
Entryway
A pair beside the rangoli to welcome guests
Pooja room
Steady light through the whole aarti
Dining table
A pair down the centre — no wax on the cloth
Covered balcony
No flame, so the breeze does not matter. Keep them dry.
What changes when the flame does
A box of wax candles is gone by the end of the night. These come out again next Diwali, and the one after that.

Questions, answered
No. It is an LED that looks like a candle flame. There is no fire, no heat and no smoke, and nothing to blow out.
Acrylic, cut with a crystal pattern so the light scatters across the table. Acrylic is lighter than glass and far less likely to break if a candle tips over.
Each candle runs on button cells, the small round coin-type batteries used in watches and remotes. They come included with your order.
Replace them with new button cells of the same size, available at most electronics and general stores. The candle works again straight away, so you can use the same set every festival.
Remove a small chip under the candle and use the on/off switch on the base of each candle. No matches, no lighter.
About 7 inches (18 cm) tall — tall enough to stand out on a dining table or a pooja shelf.
There is no flame and no heat, so they are safe near curtains, flowers, children and pets. As with any small electronic, keep spare button cells out of reach of small children.
Indoors or on a covered balcony. They are not waterproof, so keep them away from rain and water.

Very very delicate. While opening and fitting batteries, you must be extra careful. The grooves are very delicate. They can can break very easily and it happened in my case. They will work for 10 to 15 days , that's all. When they work they are very beautiful and delightful.
Very Very Nice. A must buy !!
Good quality.
